I am currently with an official bank, I have the "Statement from officer Letter" from them and the supporting deposit prints to show the yearly balance for this account but I have only been using them since May, previous I had a pre-paid credit card that I used for my main account and my direct deposit went into, unfortunately I can' get an Official Letter from them, all I can get is my deposit slips from them. Is this going to be a problem? I am only offering the info on this pre-paid credit card account in addition to further support my income before transferring everything over to my current bank…

Any advice would be appreciated!

Why do you need a bank letter? Is it because you are using assets instread of income for the I-134?

it's one of the requirements on the I-134 Instruction form...

"A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account:

1. Date account opened;

2. Total amount deposited for the past year;

3. Present Balance.

Did you guys have this letter?

Can't think of anybody who has. Just pick 2 from this list

-Tax return with W2 or a tax transcript. One year. Either one or the other, not both.

-A few pay slips

-A letter from employer stating salary, position, and that it's full time as opposed to seasonal work, like a summer lifeguard.

-A pension statement if you have a retired sponsor.

That's just two of the above. Any one would do it, but two is for extra assurance.

good.gifThanks Nich-Nick for taking the time... I am going to provide the Bank Letter I do have and bank statements, my IRS transcripts from the last 3 years, 3 recent check stubs and a letter from my work! so you are making me feel as if that is enough for this form!

Thanks so much!
