My (me an my wife) AOS application and EAD were received by USCIS on August 13th, 2012.

Biometrics appointment was in mid September.

Received the EAD card on Nov. 2nd, 2012.

Have not heard a peep on the AOS since the NOA. The online status still shows in the 1st stage of ACCEPTANCE at the National Benefits Center location.

Next week it will have been 6months, at which time I guess I'll need to contact my local congressman to inquire.

:time: It helps folks understand where you are in the process, and helps them formulate focused responses.

Good luck!

We are also an August filer, and the status for our 485 is still on acceptence stage. Although I have recieved my EAD commbo in Nov and got a job offer in Dec and started a new job from the new year.

I almost forget about that I'm still waiting for GC as most things (job, driver license, bank, travelling) have been settled down within half year since I moved here. A friend reminded me this morning, so I realised that it has been a while I haven't had any news from USCIS. Then found this topic in VJ and noticed that I'm not the only one left behind...

let's hope we get our GC soon!

August filer for my wife here. Still waiting for response! it looks like we're not the only ones.

she received her EAD combo few months back.. wait is killing us :P

You are not alone. Although almost everyone previousl on this post has had their interview before Christmas...some unlucky ones (like us) still remain. Our files must be in some remote stack for there seems no rhymne or reason for even some October filers have had their interviews before us in August. We too would like to get on with our lives as we have dotted allour I's and crossed our T's faithfully. I thought we would have an interview in November lke many other Augut filers but we are soon in March without a word. At least you are not the only one waiting.
