EAD - send in additional info or not?

Hi all!

I just filed for my EAD a few days ago, by e-filing it. On the receipt/confirmation I got online it kind of standardly said that I should look at the application info page if anything else needed to be sent in by mail in addition to the application.

Today I recieved my NOA1 by mail, stating that they have recieved the application and correct fee, and if any additional info is needed they will send a request for that.

Hmm... So my question is,

1. do I wait for that and hope for the best, that they will not ask for anything in addition (copies of 1-94, photos and such) or do I send it in now just to be sure, even if they havent asked for it specifically in the e-filing?

I read somewhere in the forum that they will request additional info if they really need it, if they dont you're good, and that you can get your e-filed EAD without sending in the other stuff.

2. Also, separately I got a notice of request of evidence for my AOS the other day. They wanted a birthcertificate that I had already send them in the application ( I took copies so I know I send it!). In the letter it said that UNTIL 90 DAYS AFTER THE EVIDENCE IS RECIEVED BY INS I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WORK.

I freaked out and saw how it will take months and months for me to start working ( I get crazy sitting around the house...) so I called them. The INS woman explained that INS MIGHT HAVE DISPLACED MY INITIAL COPY I SEND THEM, GREAT! And that this 90 days block would only relate to a temporary 90-days EAD application if I had one, not the I-765 one thats in process now. She also said that most likely will I not get my I-765 before 90 days anyway (but Im hopeful!), but when I do get it I can start working regardless of that notice of missed evidence 90 days stuff.

Can I trust this??? For some reason Im not shure she understood my question?

3. Also, will my EAD be put on hold, until they recieve another birth certificate from me? Or is this different processes that dont really affect each other?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This process can shure drive a person nuts!

I don't know about sending info that they haven't requested but I didn't apply online so I can't really share any experience regarding that ...

And from what I understand your EAD will be on hold until you send in your birth certificate that they are asking for your AOS application (which could cause longer delays in getting your EAD approved) ... Just so you know they seem to loose things out of your package somehow ... I got a RFE for our marriage certificate and like you I photocopied a complete copy of my package and I know the original was in the package ...

And be prepared to be sitting around, I sent in my paperwork for my EAD about 60 days ago and I still haven't heard anything ... I think it is taking 80 days or so for them to process it ...
