your a steelers fan are you...i miss my aussie rules so i have got hooked into watching the steelers play...was so disappointed last weekend didnt see any of the game watched it on the website...

In New York you might want to try ' A Salt and Battery' on Greenwich Av. for fish and chips. Pretty good but not spectacular, thick chunky chips though. Next door is 'Tea and Sympathy', a quaint little tea room that does goo tea, fantastic bangers and mash with onion gravy and many other british meals. Myers of keswick on hudson street is a butchers that sells bangers, cumberland sausages, ribena, pg tips, cadbury's, marmite, bovril etc etc. Its expensive though.

For football, you can try most irish bars but you will not beat Nevada Smiths on 3rd Av btw 11th and 12th streets. Its got a great atmosphere and on a champions league day they show every game live and you get a really good mix with every team (no matter how obscure) represented. I watched Liverpool play luton in january and the luton fans outnumbered the liverpool fans.
