Hi Folks,

My Fiance's interview is scheduled to be on Oct 25th, less than 8 weeks from now. I've requested an Employment Letter from my company last Aug 8 and got it on the same day. I just thought I could be proactive with my time while we waited for NOA2 which we got last Aug 17. Now will this be still considered current or valid? Will it be best to just get a more recent one? The one I've sent through USPS was signed and original copy. If I get another copy, could I just scan this one and have him print from his end?

Thanks!

Hard to say, you may be fine. It all depends on the CO at the interview. Consider checking in at the Phil regional forum, since your question is embassy-specific.

For example, in our case for Guangzhou, I did the same thing and got the letter early. To be on the safe side, I got another more recently dated employer letter for the interview. But that was China, and you are talking about the Phils. All of the embassies/consulates seem to have different levels of scrutiny.

Good luck.

My employment verification letter was dated in September. I mailed my I-134 packet to my fiancée in October and her interview at the embassy in Manila occurred in late November.

My employment situation has not changed.

I included copies of my paycheck stubs up to the time that I mailed her the packet.

Her interview went well.

She is here, we were married in March, and I just recently used the same copy of the employment verification letter when we applied for her Adjustment Of Status. I just included current paycheck stubs, which support the facts listed in the letter.

Good luck!

Yeah I might as well do it. Thanks!

I will send my bank statement and last 4 pay stubs as we get closer to the interview date. Thanks!
