Hi Ambichelle, I wish good luck to both of us this week for getting an interview date.

I don't think the country origin relationship with the US has anything to do with NVC's processing order.

My guess is that they work from the billet listings from each embassy as they come in.

One of the NVC agents told me that each embassy submits their anticipated openings report to NVC prior to the scheduling cycle. The openings count is per business day for that particular embassy.

Your embassy, and my Montreal embassy are somewhere in the stack that will be processed this week.

I pray we both get a date setup this week.

New member to visajourney. Thanks for all the great information. Im waiting for an interview at the Stockholm embassy as well, case completed July 18th at NVC. I'm glad to hear NVC is now scheduling October interviews.
