Hi Dana, so how does one schedule a medical in Nigeria. I am currently abroad. Can i call schedule from abroad.

You don't need to schedule your medical, just go to the hospital with your interview letter and passport pics, your passport and medical fees

Winnie, wouldn't IMANCO have to use the facility that the embassy closest to him requires? That would be way I'd go about it. I think it would ultimately depend on where he is currently located.

yes there are two hospitals the embassy requires, whichever that is closer to him

This will make it complicated. I knew some one who was based in London, who had his medical here, but on his return to Nigeria for his interview, he was asked to redo the medical. Moreover, the facilities are sort of linked to the embassies. I am in London now, but i opted to do my interview in Nigeria. Now i am regretting.

If your interview will take place in london then you following the instructions of the london embassy, likewise if your interview will take place in nigeria

You're right, I asked her right after posting here "should I ask"...and she doesn't have any answers either. I posted our entire list on the NVC forum, did you see that? Others should also know what they are up against once their case is complete.

So have you heard anything new now? A friend talked to NVC last night and the operator told her they used to schedule only the second week but now are extending the interview dates from the second week through (I think she said 27th). Who knows! And now with the embassy having trouble and folks trying to burn the down in parts of the world, I mean...what else can cause a hiccup right when it's our turn to be here.

Oh well, I guess if Jesus comes back today, I will see my husband at the Pearly Gates. Don't look like I'm going to see him for an interview anytime soon! LOL
