....we are nearly half way through September now and no word for anybody yet.

Maybe we were all too hopeful for October interview.

No kidding. My wife asked me I want to go see the Trans Siberian Orchestra in December. I am not sure I'll be there in time for the concert.

Sorry Mr. Borkström, when going back through this entire thread of 14 or so pages, I say I left you out! I was just about to add you! Thanks for jumping in there! There is a large gap between you and Ginie. I saw where you received emails. Very vague. Have they gave you any further reasoning? Are you calling NVC or just waiting around like I am? I can't stand to call them and go through the disappointment everyday. So I wait.

I haven't heard anything from the NVC or the embassy since the last email I got from the NVC (Sep. 4). I'm just waiting. Not going to waste my time and money calling and neither is my USC wife. They'll email us when they're good and ready - I don't believe there's anything I can do to speed it up. At least that's how it feels. I'm kinda bitter about the whole sh!tty situation.

I haven't gotten any explanation as to why it's taking so long, other than that they "have been experiencing a huge backlog". I don't expect to get an explanation and frankly I don't know if I want/need one either.

I realized today that I've stopped hoping for something to be in the inbox when I check my email.

Sorry if I sound bitter and disappointed, but that's what I am. Even if the Stockholm embassy people kiss my shiny metal as$ and pay me to move to the US, they're still not getting an all around positive review from me like they seem to get from 99% of people who've written reviews here on VJ.

This is the BIGGEST piece of Bull Poop.

I have now seen at least four beneficiary's from our consulate that went through NVC after me and are now already in USA.

NVC is always telling us they are waiting to hear about an interview slot from the Consulate.

This is the BIGGEST piece of Bull Poop.

...Because How Many K-1's have been scheduled that went through NVC after us...???

MANY, MANY, MANY...!!!!

I have now seen at least four beneficiary's from our consulate that went through NVC after me and are now already in USA.
