Yeah...I think I mentioned that somewhere here in this thread before.

If they are scheduling everday then why are they not giving us any interview date...???

The mystery continues...

Maybe they make the announcements the 2nd week of the month......I don't know :crying:

we will never know crying.gifcrying.gif

Hubby and I just got off the phone with NVC and I asked them wen they will start scheduling, the first week is almost gone and no interview date yet....... We told the operator that we understand they schedule every second week of each month and she said that's not true that they schedule everyday.....

So if that's the issue then why are we still waiting for a date

They should be consistent with their information arrrrgggghhhhhh helpsmilie.gifhelpsmilie.gif

Its rare that customer service is ever consistent...lol!

Not sure exactly what's taking so long. Probably people going on vacation.

The closest I've gotten so far is two emails from the embassy and the NVC respectively.

From the embassy (August 29):

From the NVC (September 4):

That emails look so familiar. Oh wait they sent me one of those too! smh!!!! :crying::crying:

It seems like I am trying to jump onto a crowded elevator that is headed to the october interview floor.

I look at all these other timelines where you have been waiting for over one month now to receive the date, and it is alarming to me.

There are so many things on hold just waiting for this magical appointment. So many lives are in the balance, yet the options are almost none...just wait.

I would gladly take a November appt-just to be able to plan is all that I ask for. And yes I miss my wife very much and at at the end of my skype and YM rope.

So here is Sept 5 on the outside looking in, and about to enter the real purgetory of this process. :wow:

Yep.....the exact same thing they read to you when you call them.....

Not when I called because that seems to be a waste of time. Thats the exact same email they sent to me! smh

He publicly disgraced me by telling that I am posting misleading information on VJ.

I said NVC schedules IR-1/CR-1 visas the 2nd week of every month...just as NVC also says.

Ryan H said this is NOT true...NVC schedules the interview dates all month long.

If this is true and we already have our date scheduled, then why are we not being told what the date is???

But, I can't say he is wrong because maybe he will ban my account.

 Thats what I read too,NVC sked every 2nd week of d month...Hope we will receive our appointment next week

It's not the wait that initially gets you down, it's the K-1ers that get scheduled right away and fly out of the picture like a flock of birds. That leaves you standing baffled all over again.:wacko:

This is absolutely true.

I now know of at least 3 beneficiary's from our consulate who passed through the NVC after me that have already arrived in USA.
