after your I-129F petition is approved. You will send your I-134 plus supporting documents to your fiancé for the K1 interview. You have a little more time so you can look over the form and get an idea of what you need and how to fill it out...good.gif

You file that after you receive your NOA2. But it is good to get familiar with its contents and be ready to get all the documents ready when you get your NOA2. Check the link below on the steps. That is what I did. As soon as I received my NOA2 which was 190 days after my NOA1 I was able to get my files together quickly.

I am not sure. So, just to be clear, they already have their NOA2 (meaning I-129F has been approved??

Your friend may have front loaded their application. But it is not necessary to file the I-134 until you hear back from USCIS.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12

no they don't have their NOa2 yet friend. That's why Im so curious if its okay to get one earlier without noa2 yet.

The petitioner can go ahead and start getting everything prepared for the I-134. It is a downloadable form.

I imagine your friend's fiancé just went ahead and filled it out now and sent it over.

Personally I think it is a little too early. USCIS looks at current income. If they sent over copies of current paystubs, the paystubs will not be current in 3-4 monthswacko.gif..

Don't worry though. You are fine and as long as your fiancé gets you your I-134 before your interview, you will be fine.

Just ask kennard how soon before the interview he sent his to his lovely fiancé. This will ease your mind....good.gif

Your petitioner should send everything closer to your interview.

The more current, the better, especially the paycheck stubs.

At your interview, you'll be handing over the I-134 and it's supporting documents to the Filipino pre-screener. That's the time you "file" the documents.
