It is not P3000

It is $30.00 USD

Sorry to the OP that this doesn't answer his question. But I would like to point out to David that if one will get the extension IN the Philippines, the fee is PhP 3,000 plus.

Here is for certain as I fly into the Phils every month pretty much for the last 4 years. The day you land is the date that gets stamped in your passport. If you land on sep 1 @ 2300 and you go through immigration on sep 2 @ 0100, your stamp will say sep 1. Also, you are only given 21 days and then after that you have to pay tobextend your visa. If you do it before your 21 days expires its cheap(40-50 dollars. If ypu wait until after, like I have done its 100-130 dollars. Just pay the extended visa and then you don't have to worry. If uou can't spend $40 for a visa to stay a few extra days then you should probably leave early.

And of course, Phils immigration can do whatever they want at anytime. Maybe you can throw him a 500 peso to get a stamp for the next day, see what happens and let us know.

I understand that, but if you will just take a few moments. You can apply for your visa in the USA

Cost is $30

Demanding people give you a straight answer, even in their own experience, wouldn't guarantee you'd have the same experience. Any answer you get in this thread will not be grounds for admission or excuse should the immigration officer you deal with decides to either be lax or strict that day and hold you accountable.

If you're that strapped for cash that you cannot afford a $30 extension, I'd hate to think what you're going to be able to do for an Affidavit of Support should you intend to marry whomever it is you're going to go see.

That is so true. If you are worried about affording the $30usd visa fee in the states or the 3000php visa fee extension for those of us who can't do the previous one. Then you need to look into not even going at all. That is the sad truth. Because you are foreigner people will automatically assume you have money so they will up the price for you.

Also NAIA is NOT DUBAI it will not take you over 1 hour to get to the immigration counter. The longest it ever took me was 20mins, then it took even longer than that to get my bag. You just have to make sure you have everything filled out beforehand. It is not rocket science.

Yeah, baggage claim takes way too long. So many balikbayan boxes to unload before the suitcases and duffle bags.

Luckily I have clothes in the Phils and only have a carry-on. I had enough getting hit by carts and bumped and pushed waiting for bags. They like to swing their #######/bags off the belt because their so heavy and smash into you. Or hold on and follow it down the belt running people over, just like fishing Reds on the Kenai River, hahaha. I'm so happy when I make business class and avoid all of the lines!!!

Yeah I did business class last time I went to the Philippines. I didn't have all those lines either but I also didn't check any baggage as well. Espeically going to Manila, I hate checking baggage because it takes so long. So I just end up carrying it with me. If I fly economy then I try and get as close to the front of the plane as I can.
