RFE response sent on 06/17 (same day I flew to Egypt with our baby daughter for a month-long vacation).
Approval letter received on 07/06.
GC received on 07/08.

Here is some info, which can, possibly, be helpful for those poor souls, who are, like us, are still waiting. USCIS now provides us with such useful option to request on status of the application as E-Request (just on uscis.gov). If you are waiting longer than projected time for the I-751 (which is, according their table is 6 months for CSC), you have a reason, sufficient enough to fill out that request, according to the instructions on the site.

We filled it out on 7/07, and just 11 days latter (they reserve 30 to give response) we got email, stating that CSC "ordered" our file for review, and that we will receive response during the 45 days time frame.

That is much better than wait one year for InfoPass appointment, in my opinion, so I decided to share this info.

This waiting, but now much more hopeful,

I'm proud to report I've been approved date 07/19/2013, still waiting for my GC tracking it as we speak.

I doubt it ;( I am STILL waiting for my interview date. My letter was sent May 29th saying they have moved my case to the local Phoenix office for interview scheduling and they will contact me when a date becomes available. I have just today scheduled a infopass appointment for August 26th in Phoenix to see if they can help at all.

Will keep posts updated as and when I hear back.

Hello!

Tiny, but hopefully resulting in happy results, update. I called USCIS twice today and:

First call: "It looks like they're still under initial review-wait". Riveting.

Second call: Service agent saw my stuff was wayyy over processing times and put in a service request for me. They have 15 days to respond with an update/expedite stuff... If not, I follow up with them w. my service request number.

Lesson: Try try and try again!

Random related anecdote: I was in NYC for a friend's wedding this weekend, and a friend of the wedding peeps is an immigration attorney there. He told me this: best days to call are Wednesdays and Thursdays and after lunch. He was dead right--both of my calls had me on the line with someone in less than 3 minutes. Handy to know!

Fingers crossed--may USCIS good joojoo smile down on me soon!

I think I'm in the same boat as you. I was going to ask about my long wait time after RFE response! Looks like I'll be calling them today
