So I got the rfe and send more stuffs back 2 weeks ago. I just received a letter today said that my case was approved. Jayyyy! Good luck to every one that has not heard back from them.

Thanks jurika and Jim. The decision date is may 20. Exactly 1 week since the day they received the package. I sent the package in may 11, they received in may 13

I got an approval letter on April 17th and haven't received my greed card yet. (My case status on the website is still in initial process.)

Yes, ours is almost exactly the same approval date and all we have had is the approval letter. No card, and no online status update.

This is just insane and ridiculous. I moved from Los Angeles to Dallas last weekend to start a job and my employer asked me to bring some documents that prove my status, so I brought the approval letter and expired greencard. However, she told me that it is not enough and asked me to bring a new greencard by this Friday. Otherwise, she will rescind the job offer.

Anyways, I did some research. According to the last year, those people who got the approval letter around April 17th or 18th received their card on May 30th or 31st. I hope that we could get a card by this week. (sigh)

If so, I would schedule an infopass and try to get that stamp in your passport in lieu of your expired GC and extension letter. Show your extension letter with your expired green card.

The problem is that HR is clueless....

If so, I would schedule an infopass and try to get that stamp in your passport in lieu of your expired GC and extension letter. I actually called USCIS yesterday and the representative informed me that he cannot give me any tracking number or further information because I'm still in initial review on the system (even though I got the approval letter). I explained my current situation and he just kept saying I have to wait at least 60 days before taking any action (I got the letter on 4/17). Also, he sounds like he's careless and doesn't care.

Oh..one more thing I got the same notification as you did (request for change of address) about 3 week ago even though I never filed it.

Anyways, what did you tell them? Can you give me some tips?
