I just got a text message and an email that the USCIS received my address change request in connection with my (approved) petition to remove conditions. Thing is, I never filed any change of address form, because I never changed address. I called the hotline and spoke with a very nice customer representative who filed a service request to advise the competent office that I did not change address and that I am still waiting for my card after more than a month from the approval. Let's see what else happens

We would sit back and quietly wait too, if we didnt need to travel soon. Yes, we can go and ask for an I-551 stamp, but it is another hassle we dont need.

Anyway, your situation must be even more frustrating, I agree...

Barry, Check the posts on here. The letter + expired green card is better to have than the stamp as far as airline personnel are concerned. Are you prepared to let go of the letter and expired green card in return for the stamp in the passport?

Found something interesting:

Looking at the November 2011 filers thread, many of them experienced a similar phenomenon; they were getting a bunch of CSC approvals during April 2012, but suddenly cards stopped coming and none were received for 5-6 weeks subsequently. It is exactly a year offset from our situation. I dont know how to interpret that, but I am hoping we start to get ours by the end of May, like they did.

On May 17, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file.

I really hope CSC will buck up and send those green cards. 3 weeks more and it will be 60 days for me.

Why dont you try a service request? It seemed to work for "newlyweds2010", and they were just over 30 days after approval when they submitted it. We will be 30 days very soon, and if I havent heard anything, I will be trying that...

Hmmm...basically call the number on the NOA and request a "service request?" I should do that if it still hasn't come when I return to the States in early June.

So my question...does it ever happen that the one year extension letter also expires and you're still waiting for the approval and process of the ten year green card? Anyone see any recent stories about that on here?
