Hi everyone! I haven't been on this forum for a while and I'm in the September 2012 ROC group :)

I do have a quick question: My husband misplaced the NOA when we went in for his biometrics. Sooo, I don't have any proof that he has filed or have a case number. Does anyone know if I can call to get another or at least get my case number? I'm a little worried as he might be getting a new job soon...

I've been pretty bad about keeping up with this ever since he finally was able to move here and we got married haha.

Taking an infopass and getting the I-551 stamp on his passport is an option.

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC

How I look forward to the day when the last column of the table starts getting updated. :(

I know...this is odd....I hope to see some people announcing that they got the letter that they're approved. I've been checking this for a while as I will be a September filer later two years down the road and it is good to see the progress on the same month filers as I will be....good luck, peeps!

6 months is only a few weeks away, has anyone been scheduled for a interview, had an approval letter or anything else apart from biometics???

Sorry, but forget about CSC "6 months" standard. August CSC approval rate here in ROC monthly filers thread is still 0% (July 33%) and USCIS website states they are processing June 8 case :bonk: (as of Feb 5 and I think they will update soon again though...)

I came back to the US from overseas last night. I used my expired green card and my NOA. Everything went smoothly until I cleared immigration in the US. The IO asked me several questions as to why I have not received my GC yet after 6 months of filing (####### do I know?), where the actual extension date was (seriously? there is no actual date, it says 'extended for a period of one year', they let us do the math), whether I checked the mail recently ('several times a day' was my answer), whether I am still married, etc.

No updates here either. It's been 6 months since we filed. How long does the process normally take?

Is it a good idea to travel overseas in the next 2-3 months while the application is still pending?

ROC Timeline

8/1/12: ROC window opens
9/4/12: ROC packet sent
9/8/12: ROC packet delivered to VSC
9/12/12: Check cashed
9/14/12: NOA letter received (NOA dated 9/10/12)
9/20/12: Biometrics letter received (Bio appointment 10/15/12)
10/12/12: Early biometrics walk-in

4/27/13: RFE received

6/17/13: RFE response sent

7/1/13: ROC petition approved

7/5/13: GC received in the mail.

Hi everyone! I haven't been on this forum for a while and I'm in the September 2012 ROC group :)

I do have a quick question: My husband misplaced the NOA when we went in for his biometrics. Sooo, I don't have any proof that he has filed or have a case number. Does anyone know if I can call to get another or at least get my case number? I'm a little worried as he might be getting a new job soon...

I've been pretty bad about keeping up with this ever since he finally was able to move here and we got married haha.

Does he have the biometrics letter with their stamp and signature? The receipt number of the biometrics letter is what you'll need to track his case on the USCIS site. If he plans to travel then an infopass may be what you need. To get a job it depends, he can show his social security card, driver's license, etc.
