Correct. I got a letter in the mail that says: "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a lawful permanent resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status. You should receive your new permanent resident card within 60 days". My online status still shows "initial review", and I didn't receive any text or email saying that I was approved. That's why I thought it was an RFE.

Well, CONGRATULATIONS! ! ! I filed Sept 20th and mine is still at initial review, hoping I get something like that soon enough

By the way, my online case status still shows 'initial review' and I have not received the email or the text message. When I saw the letter in the mail yesterday I got upset at first because I thought it was a RFE. Anyway, I read that they send you a code to track the card shipping: does it mean you get another letter/email when they actually mail the card?

I received a second Email today:

"Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On April 15, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

But no tracking Number... So I wonder if I will receive a third Email??

Well, CONGRATULATIONS! ! ! I filed Sept 20th and mine is still at initial review, hoping I get something like that soon enough

Thank you. I will keep you updated if I receive any other correspondence from the USCIS and in any event when I receive my Green Card. I suspect it won't take 60 days as indicated in their letter. Good luck!

I would ignore what you see online and go with what you have on-hand, which is the letter. Systems aren't updated properly like they should be. Congratulations!

We got our letter today! I was so not expecting it. I just happened to check this thread today and saw all of the approvals. I checked our status at USCIS.gov today and there has been no update since September. I got home from work and checked the mail to find the letter! Now we are done with USCIS for 10 years! Woo hoo!!!

Our approval date is 04/11/2013, came in the mail on 4/15/2013.

We got our letter today! I was so not expecting it. I just happened to check this thread today and saw all of the approvals. I checked our status at USCIS.gov today and there has been no update since September. I got home from work and checked the mail to find the letter! Now we are done with USCIS for 10 years! Woo hoo!!!

Our approval date is 04/11/2013, came in the mail on 4/15/2013.

Hi all, good news! My wife got a letter stating that the conditions have been removed and a card has been ordered, and to contact them if she doesn't receive it within 60 days. The online thing (which I checked today) is not current. Looks like a lot of folks will be getting theirs soon...yipee! Have updated the CA list below.

I received an RFE today. They want more joint financial proof.

I am not sure what to do as I sent them everything I had. They suggested joint health insurance and such, but we do not have that as we do not have any health insurance right now. We've both had our cars before we got married and kept our own insurances because it was cheaper for us. Not sure what to send them. I did find a joint renters insurance but that's about it. We also do have a joint credit card (the already have copies of those) but separate checking accounts as we both had them before we got married. Even if we get a joint account now only for immigration they will see that this is a new account.

Any suggestions?

We did submit our phone bill (in his name but both of our phone numbers are listed on there) and also our lease, which has both of our names on there.
