Today we had our interview, and my husband's visa was approved!

I'll write a consulate review later, tonight we are going out to celebrate. The Sydney consulate is very nice and efficiently set up, and everyone is pleasant. Our interviewer was really nice, and the interview was short and cursory. We did get stuck there for two hours. Great view though.

Many many thanks to all the wonderful people here (Saylin especially)--without VJ, I would have been lost. I hope everyone here gets good news soon! Hang in there, you *will* get through it all, even when sometimes you think you never will. Big hugs to everyone!

I had it in my mind that invoicing was happening over the weekend and queued for this morning....But just checked the portal again and no progress

Me neither though I know my IIN came more recently than yours. Hang in there -- soon we'll be $88 poorer!! LOL

Like dwheels said, if your pay stubs have a YTD (year-to-date) amount on them, then you only need the most recent one. If not, you just need a handful of the most recent ones (like 3 months worth or so). And even if you send in pay stubs, an employment letter is still a great idea! We did both for our case

If you don't have enough room to answer the question in its entirety, then don't fill in anything and simply just put 'see attachment' (with the other fields blank). Then on the attachment, write out the entire question, and the whole answer.

Yes, you're supposed to put 'present' for the "to" field on the top as your current address.

And typically, it usually takes a few business days from case number being assigned for the AOS to be invoiced. You have been checking the payment portal right and not just relying on some email? You can try calling NVC tomorrow and seeing what's up. They're probably just backlogged though.

Okay is it me or is their a BIG gap between DS-3032 being accepted and IV BILL getting invoiced? It was accepted on friday 8/31. Okay I know holiday and all but come on now.

It should be any day now right??

Thanks Saylin! The IV package is ready to be sent. Just need to take it to the post office at lunch. I'm also sending the AOS at the same time. I posted a question (here) about tax transcripts and schedules but got no replies. From what I've read on a few threads the transcript and current pay stub should be fine. What do you think?

If the amounts from your second job on the 1099 show up on your tax transcript, then you shouldn't need to send in the tax return and schedules.

When they say "original police certificates" does that mean from their own country or from both their country and the US (if they have a criminal history)? Do the "originals" have to be certified/stamped in blue ink and obviously not copies of a certified/stamped disposition?
