The weird part is I had a sick feeling as I dropped it into the mail slot at the first post office it went through. Then when it started going in circles around VA I realized the Universe was trying to tell me something and I'd be an idiot to not look over the paperwork again. Thank goodness I caught it!!!!

Looks unlikely that I'll get an October Interview.. I should be case complete by the end of the week

Saylin do you think I have a chance at an October Interview?

That depends heavily on what Macedonia's time frames are. Have you done your own research on this yet? If you haven't, here's a link to get started: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=3&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op7=Macedonia&dfile=No&adv= Have some fun :)

Called NVC yesterday evening. The op told me my packages are not in their system yet.

Do they send out email to inform us about receiving of the package and case completion?

The operatives cannot see packages until they are approved, which happens 1 week or more after they are received. And no they don't, just keep calling once in a while, or you won't hear until they schedule interview.

I was finally was able to speak to a supervisor (after repeatedly telling the operator that I've gotten conflicting information from operators and the checklists and that Danish citizens go through Stockholm) to look at our case. The supervisor acknowledged that the Danish passport is what is needed. But since she couldn't actually physically see our file (to see if the expiration date is legible, smudged (according to her sometimes they smudged them when they move papers around), or maybe the passport photocopy had fallen out (again according to her they sometimes fall out when they move papers around, so it's good to put your case number on each page)), and after a few times being put on hold she told me she requested our case files from the reviewing office (which is in another building) to be sent to her. She said she'd get it tomorrow and will look to see why they are asking for the passport (if it's not readable, missing, smudged, etc.) and tell me exactly what's in there. Fingers crossed it's only a clerical mistake and she can get the case moving.

Also, she was also able to tell me that the AOS was finally approved, that's two weeks since they received it.

I got an email today claiming missing information and then the text below. They have my DS-3032 so is this just a false notification?

_____CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

We are waiting for the form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) that was previously sent to the beneficiary. This form tells us how to contact the beneficiary during the immigrant visa process.

The agent selected by the beneficiary can be the petitioner, another relative, a friend, an attorney, or a charitable organization, such as a church or other immigrant assistance organization. Mail delivery is often unreliable in many parts of the world, so we strongly suggest that the beneficiary choose someone who has an address in the United States.

It is acceptable that the beneficiary not name an agent and have us contact him/her directly. If the beneficiary is unable to locate a copy of this form, he/she may notify the NVC via a letter or an email, which indicates his/her choice.

Regardless of the beneficiary's choice, the beneficiary must notify us of his/her choice before we may continue processing this file. In the event that the beneficiary is under the age of sixteen, it is acceptable to have the beneficiary's parent or guardian sign the form.

I'm guessing they reviewed your AOS package (and that it was accepted). Call up NVC asap and ask!!

Depends, they've been scheduling October since last week and until the 20th. From interview thread it's apparent that they schedule by country, so, if you're lucky and they haven't done your country, and there's no waiting line, then you have a shot for October, but it's a very small one.
