I know this is probably a silly question, but I'm trying to do everything I can to keep busy while waiting for our interview date. Does all the documenation that was sent to USCIS get sent to the embassy for the interview? I sent several items for proof of relationship with my packet to USCIS but I'm wondering if I should send even more to my husband to have for the interview.

Technically, yes, everything from USCIS is sent to NVC which is then sent to the embassy. But you should still bring a lot more proof to the interview, especially for someone in Africa.

Yes because I've seen my husband a whopping 15 days in the past 15 months (due to immigration jail and his being excused from the US). After this we have the 601 to file which will take another 2-3 months. It's like it never ends but we're so close!!!

I want to take the opportunity to apologize to everyone here. Having waited for more than two months to get an interview date has made me quite bitter and disappointed. I don't harbor any resentment to anyone here, but sometimes I find it too hard to bite my lip and suppress bitter comments about the NVC and/or embassy. I may try to cut down on posting and stick to just reading until such time involved authorities find it in their hearts to get me a date for an interview.
