12/5/11: NOA1

4/25/12: Case Transferred to Local Office (DC) for "Additional Processing"

4/27/12: Case Received at Local Office

5/15/12: RFE (daughter's birth cert)

5/15/12: RFE Evidence Sent (never received)

8/10/12: Infopass, evidence handed to officer adjudicating case

8/13/12: NOA2

NVC

8/20/12: Case Received

8/31/12: Case #/IIN Received

8/31/12: DS3032 Sent

9/11/12: ERROR MESSAGE! biggrin.png

Yep!!!! See, remember we had an attorney listed.... I emailed them on 8/31 when I got our case # and told them to remove her as the agent. When I called on 9/11 they said she was still listed. They responded later that day and said they would remove her and send all correspondence to me.

Shoot, IDK about you Grace, but I've already mailed the AOS (an hour ago) and I'm going to mail the IV when I get home tonight. It says they should reach NVC by 9/15 (how convenient, that's my birthday!!).... let's get our cases CLOSED!!!!! :dancing: :joy:

I was under the impression that they must show PAID in order to be able to mail them out. I actually was able to email myself the Invoice Cover Sheet that has my Case Number along with the my wife's name and it does have the AWESOME "Barcode" at the bottom. :help:

Oh and HBD!!

See and that's what I thought too -- about it needing to say PAID -- but I did some research and I've seen people send it as soon as they get the barcode. You know my backstory here -- I ain't waiting around if I don't have to ;)

But seriously -- I also am sending the packets via Priority Mail so they won't "beat" the PAID status. They should be there Saturday... plenty of time for the PAID to come up!

I am jealous, wish my husband was with me or I could stay with him this whole process time. It is taking a toll on me; lost a few pounds already.

I'm not sure what happened at NVC this week but after being dissappointed by 2 operators & the supervisor saying our case was returned to USCIS

now i am so happy I finally got our interview :dance: :dance: :dance:

It will be Oct 9th... I just want to THANK GOD for always being with us and to all VJ members that help out with answers, you all truly help getting through NVC
