Look on the bright side. At least it only took 91 days for your I-130 approval. Shoot, it took me 8 months and 8 days, and the entire time my husband was in El Salvador. AND we still have the 601 waiver to file. So don't despair. Yours will be done a lot sooner than you think.

And I should still be able to access the payment portal to pay that MYSELF, right? I feel like that's a really, really stupid question but I'm totally paranoid.

Ullnvrkno, I totally understand what you are saying. I guess I am just being a bit selfish and I shouldnt be that way at all. Thanks for putting it in that Perspective!!

Nah I understand. It's hard for everyone, no matter how long you've been separated by this BS archaic process.

Hi Vj,AOS shows PAID on payment portal and IV Bill Invoiced,my wife has paid IV Bill since early last week but it never shows paid.....is it possible to have a case completed and IV BILL not showing paid? or we must see IV BILL shows PAID in payment portal before we have Case Completed?

Case complete requires 4 things: AOS bill paid, AOS package accepted, IV bill paid, and IV package accepted.

You can't (or rather, shouldn't) send the IV package until the IV bill is appearing as PAID.

I'm confused now - called NVC since I was expecting my IV invoice. They say they haven't gotten my choice of agent. I posted an email previously for which the consensus seemed to have been that it was an acceptance email for my DS-2032.

Any insight on how I could get that end of last week but NVC says they haven't received it when I call?

I think I will snail mail the official form just to cover the bases.

I just got an email from NVC responding to my request to remove our ex-attorney as the attorney on record and that all future correspondence will be sent to the petitioner (me). This isn't technically an 3032 acceptance is it?

No, I don't think so. It's most likely in response to you wanting to remove your attorney. I'd call up NVC to confirm that your attorney was indeed removed.

Saylin,

A few of us have been keeping a list of list, wondering if we "might" get a October interview date. We've heard NVC schedules only the second week of each month (or this is what NVC tells us when we call), we've also heard from forum's here they schedule all month. But right now, we all seem to be at a standstill across the board for IR-1/CR-1's regardless of embassy. Have you heard anything, read anything that might give us some in site as to what might be happening or the reason for the holdup?

Thanks!

Dana (and Divine)
