Thank you everybody for your advice and opinion. We are going to go to the LA office tomorrow morning and try and get the I-551 stamp. If that does not work, we have decided to take our risk with it. She is leaving for Korea tomorrow and it is kind of late to cancel the ticket. Furthermore, she will be gone for 2 months. If I was to Fedex her GC to her and it was to get lost or delayed, I believe we would still have time to get it replaced. Plus, we decided if it comes down to it, I am willing to take a vacation to go to Korea and give her the GC in person. I have been needing one anyways. Thank you everyone.
