My case was complete at NVC on 2012-08-17 and I'm looking forward to being in the NVC scheduling queue for September, hoping for an early October interview date.

I have loads of emphathy. I feel, exceptionally emphathetic, for those foreign spouses here who are responsible for training up their USC spouses.. I really, really do... Whilst a case MAY be unique, the steps along the way are not. Queues vary, Humans with forms can vary their input times, mailing times. The steps do not vary. Time inbetween steps can vary, much.

yep...that's what is causing me so long a wait now....the governments lag time between steps.... i.e. 37 days from NOA2 to getting case number. I will spend longer in the NVC stage than I did in the USCIS stage.

I think gardening is the best thing to do, to fill the void o time, whilst waiting,

and I refer to it, on occassion.

ya, shovels and whatnots - my point is all 'hand tools' - no heavy lifting gear like a forklift or dump truck.

Even mow my 1/2 acre lawn with push mower....ALL my neighbors have riding lawn mower.
