Hello,

I got my delivery confirmation from the postal service saying that my N-400 packet was (delivered yesterday) to the Dallas lockbox.

With it I included the G-1145 E-notification on the top.

It is my understanding that they should have sent me a text/email confirming acceptance of my application... Which I have not recieved??

My question is:

How long does it take for them to send out these texts/emails once they have recieved the application.

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated....

Hi, I received a text actually about two weeks after they received it. So I submitted mine on June 29, 2012. They received it July 2, 2012 but I didn't get a text until July 13, 2012 that said ' USCIS: Your application was received. Receipt # XXX1234567890. Official Receipt Notice (Form I-XXX) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY' and about a working day later I got the actual slips in the mail. Once you get your case number(s) you have to go online to 'Track My Case' in USCIS website to sign up for email and text notifications. They usually are a bit delayed but it is completely worth it! A lot of times the messages will just let you know they mailed something and it comes in a couple working days ie biometrics appointment etc. I hope this helps! Good luck!
