The Death of The Energizer Bunny

Shocks the World!!!

(AP) The Energizer Bunny, known best for "going and going and going..." passed away last evening at 12:42am.

Upon completion of the autopsy early this morning, the chief medical examiner ruled that the death was caused by acute cardiac arrest, induced by sexual over-stimulation.

Apparently, someone put the battery in backwards and the bunny kept coming and coming and coming...

Foul play has not been ruled out.

how would a moribund battery (best-case coppertop--I twice had experiences where NEW Duracells were outperformed by carbons; 1 time new carbons for a flash while I was in India and the other time the four-year-old carbons the Duracell was supposed to replace in a garage-door-opener in Calgary) yield meaningful test-results?

I've generally found it to be a good idea to buy non-Duracell batteries in bulk-pack (12-48 per pack) so as to get some breathing room (example--a portable CD/MP-3 player, which I use while exercising, is a real battery-chewer).

(in the case of Duracells, i avoid them like the plague after my highly negative experiences--especially as these are also just as expensive as Energisers; to cut costs, I generally buy store-brand generics or Panasonic at Big Lots)
