Romney's aides didn't love Clint.

Clint Eastwood was supposed to be the big hit before Romney's speech ... and now, less than 24 hours later, they're distancing themselves from him as much as possible. Sounds like a success to me.

I don't know why they bother with these long drawn out conventions anymore, hardly anyone tunes in. They should have a one night deal for the tv audience and be done with it. I didn't watch the convention, but I did check out the Clint Eastwood video. As much as I like Clint, I gotta give the nod to the chair.

I watched it all or recorded it all (depending) from the CSPAN broadcast.

I liked watching the faces of the folk as they 'learned things' about the RNC plank. That was priceless.
