Im confused as to what is my A # on my Visa

I have 3 different numbers on mine -

A Control Number, an 8 digit number with an A before it (black ink) and a 8 digit number (red ink).

On I 485 they ask for the A# and the non immigrant number. Which is which?

Am i being too picky?

The A # is the one in the red ink

And the non immigrant visa number is?

Is it the same? or the control number or the black number with the A in front?

Actually, the A number is the one that starts with an A... the visa number is the one in red...

The A # is the one preceded by the letter A and is written on black ink on the K-1 visa (ie AXXXXXXXX). You can also find it on your I-129F NOA's or on the back of your I-94 card attached in your passport.

The number in red ink from your visa is the one you would use for the "non immigrant visa number".

This is how we did it and it worked just fine for us.
