I am officially done today...received my passport in the Passport agency since I am traveling on the 25th. Was late for my appointment for 20 minutes, submitted documents at 8:30am and got my passport and Naturalization certification back at 12 pm. Totally worth the 60$ extra to get all in one day!!! I wish you all the happiest of Holidays and the speediest of process! may you and your family be happy and healthy in upcoming year! :blush::luv: :luv:

What documents did you need to get your passport in 1 day?

Naturalization certificate, travel confirmation (you must be traveling in less than 2 weeks in order to get it in one day), and 60$ extra for the expedite. But it is worth it if you are traveling. I am traveling on the 25th so I made an appointment at passport agency showed up and got it in 3 hours. :blush:

I had my interview in Portland, Oregon on the 26th at 2:15pm and it went by so smooth. The lady was so nice and had all my papers signed before she asked me the civic test, reading and written. Since I have a name change, she let me signed the paper if that was the correct one that would appear on my naturalization certificate.

the questions are:

Who wrote the declaration of independence?

Who is the commander in chief of the military?

What is the political party of the President?

What are the 2 political party in the US?

Name 3 states of the 13 original colonies?

What state borders Mexico?

I noticed that she was reading all the questions she asked me and not just a random questions that whatever pops in her head....

She handed me back my drivers license and my green card,and a piece of paper which is the N-652( Naturalization Interview Result) and wrote 100% on it.

But before she started everything,she handed me back a picture album which looks familiar, and it was all our family pics when I submitted my 10 year green card application. She was like, remember this? and I was awww thank you :)

She said she will try her best to get me in to January oath ceremony if its not full if not it would be on February which I don't really care I am not traveling anywhere so soon...

Have any September filers had to file the e-Request that you are supposed to file if your interview is not scheduled within the 90-day time period? My husband is about to hit the 90-day mark since he was placed in line for interview scheduling. I am just curious as to whether the e-Request actually gets you anything other than the standard "Your office is experiencing longer than normal processing times. Please be patient."
