No, you actually have to apply for the passport. Depending on how fast you want it....there is same day appointment service available if you can show that you have a travel within 2 weeks. See http://

Hi All,

My interview is done today. Overall it went off very well.

My interview was at Jacksonville office at 10am and we arrived at 9.45 and checked in took 5 mins. I dropped in the interview letter at 9.55. My husband and toddler daughter went to use rest room. I was called in exactly at 10 am and she asked me to raise my right hand to promise if I am telling all the truth.

She asked if I made 3 trips out of united states I said "Yes" But I went to India after filing citizenship papers. So, Before I mention that she asked about that trip looking at Passport. I said yes we went since my father in law was seriously ill and I was going to tell you that. She said its allright and asked when did I leave?., I said OCT 24th and returned on Nov 27th. She asked me to sign on my photographs and some papers?

Are you living in the same place? Yes

Is your marraige is in good terms? Yes

What is the one promise you make when you become a US Citizen?

Who is the Governor of FL?

Where is the statue of Liberty located?

what are two national holidays in US?

What movement tried end the racial discrimination?

Who is the first President of US?

English read and writing test?

Who lives in The White house?

The President lives in The White house.

Thats all. She gave the piece paper and said Congratulations you passed the test. You will be receiving the letter for ceremony in 2 months. It was all done less than 10 mins. I came out and waited for husband and daughter.

They came and asked me if they haven't called me yet. I said "All done" he was surprised.

Altogether it was good and all done. I am done with this journey and driving to Jacksonville.

as far as me, it has been 66 days since my early bio and still no word or status change, still stuck on Initial Review. green card anniversary date is Dec 23, which is coming up soon!!! :unsure:

Passed my interview today! :D I was offered same day oath but declined since I'm traveling next week. Plus, I kinda want to plan a party :)

Congratulations H&V!!!!!

.....but why decline same day oath.....as u would get done....and apply for speedy one day passport...u would be done.

My online status says, " On Dec 14, 2012 we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled."

Wow. I'm impressed. It's faster than I thought it would.

Thanks to my Waheguru and all my VJ members.

I just received a text messege today that i am scheduled for an interview.

I been waiting for it and praying hard.

I called uscis and transfered to officer line. They told its on January 18,.

Please update me.

I hope everything goes well for me and for all who are waiting or done.

Its a blessing for our Sangrand day. Sikh religon.
