Hi folks,

I'm reading through the CFO requirements and I wasn't sure about the bold text. What exactly is this?

Requirements for Attendance to Guidance and Counseling Program

Two (2) valid identification cards (IDs) with photograph;

Duly completed guidance and counseling form;

If married, certified true copy and photocopy of marriage contract on security paper from the National Statistics Office, or Local Civil Registry Offices; or original and photocopy of marriage contract duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/ Consulate (if married abroad)

Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and

Payment of P250.00 counseling fee.

Requirements for Registration

Original and photocopy of Passport;

Original and photocopy of visa;

Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound/ Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada bound/ Certification of Eligibility (for Japan-bound);

Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;

Duly completed emigrant registration form; and

Payment of the authorized registration fee.

03/20/13 - Received Green Card

10/3/13 - Baby #1 arrived

Is this required for a K1 Visa? I forgot my gcp appointment and my flight is soon. Will this be a problem? I already got my visa package. Please someone reply

Without the sticker from CFO you cannot travel to the US.

u have to attend the CFO GCP ASAP! or else u can't fly to USA without the CFO sticker.

the notice about CFO GCP is included in ur visa Packet...

CFO is required for ALL IMMIGRATING from the Philippines. No CFO sticker in your passport = no travel

Is the sticker just to leave Philippines on all international flights? Is one needed to travel to Malaysia??

Once you have the visa in your passport you are not leaving the Phils without the CFO sticker
