I plan to ship my supporting documention to my fiancee tomorrow for a September 7 interview. Is FedEx a reliable carrier in the Philippines? The package will go to Quezon City. Should I write "visa documents" enclosed on the package? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Oh my goodness! I used to live in Singapore and we had to ship packages everywhere. I don't know too much about FedEx but I can tell you that the most reliable carrier we used in Asia, especially from the US, was DHL! I hope this helps :)

I use Fed-ex to do everything to India... I found fed-ex is a bit expensive but worth it, The packages always reach my fiancé in time and they are usually a day or so earlier ... and yes i would write something like immigration paperwork or something like that (that’s what i wrote)

oh and good luck!!!!!!!! and congrats toooooooooooooo...........

I sent mine DHL. I would use them if all possible. They will mark the appropriate checks for getting through customs.

I only used FedEx to ship documents to my wife and we never had any problems. She was in Mindanao and it took 3-4 days. Shipping to Quezon City should be no problem but have copies just in case something happens. Good luck.

I've always used USPS all these time for any package or parcel to Batangas. It takes 6-10 business days to MNL from San Diego but to get to fiance's place is another story (minimum of 1 week) but we never lost any. I've used it for the last two weeks for all the supporting documents and praying hard that it will not fail us this time. We have 8 weeks to interview so we were not really in a rush. FedEx or DHL will cost you a big chunk of $$$ but I think it's safe and reliable. He used DHL for a 24-hr delivery from Batangas to San Diego but paid almost $25 for 15 pages docs. Good luck!

My husband used Fedex, it was extremely expensive as there were a lot of documents(160 dollars for about 30 to 40 pages-bank statements and stuff), now, I always use the normal post here in USA( USPS) to send stuff to my parents and works perfect( tested 4 times already), in 5 days it's there and comparing 160 dollars( Fedex) to 20 (normal post)..........

My wife used LBC in Leyte, and they are working with DHL also, who delivered them to my hands in only 4-5 days.

They are reliable. She sent me all our NSO docs for NVC.

For me, it is good. I had a great experience with fedex recently. I just sent docs to my fiance mon night here and he got it on thurs 1130 am. super fast. you can just write documents. anyways, you would check a box for the form at fedex office when you send out the forms, it was about $95 for me but worth it.

I did use FedEX and they say it will arrive in Manila on Monday. If my fiancee gets it at her work place which of course is a business address in Quezon city by Tuesday or Wednesday, the $105.76 I paid will be well worth it.

We use DHL because they work with LBC in the Philippines.

Well, thats good. You can keep on tracking it too so that you can tell your fiance when she should get it. Fedex website is pretty much very updated when i was tracking my package. Its expensive but it is worth it rather than spend less money, then the docs never go through. Hope this works out for you. Good luck!
