Hi,

The wife posted the AOS and IV packet to the NVC today and they should get them tomorrow. Whats the average processing time from receipt to sending to London embassy? Also how do I check when it completed and been sent?

Once sent, how do I check if the embassy has received it and how long until they schedule and interview date?

Thanks

Dean

It's currently taking NVC around a week to review packages. To check if you have a case complete or not, you have to call up NVC and ask one of the operators. And for IR-1/CR-1 applicants, your case is NOT sent to the embassy abroad until an interview date is scheduled. As for the time frame on getting an interview date scheduled, it varies by country. Some people find out within a few days from case complete, others a few weeks. You can either call NVC and/or DOS as often as you want to find out, or just wait for NVC to email you the date (if you gave both email addresses over to an operator when your case number was assigned, otherwise it'll be sent by snail mail which can take weeks to receive).

It takes about a week to review the packages sent to NVC and if they have anything missing they will let you know, hopefully they wont......... you have to keep calling to know if your case is completed, once is completed you then have to wait for NVC to schedule your appointment, once that is done NVC sends your case to London embassy..

Philippians 4 vs 6-7
