Some are pro-choice, pro abortion or pro whatever BS will come out of LA next yet not pro choice to bear arms... nah but that is different...

I never said I don't support the second amendment -- but there would be no dead fetus if the woman didn't have a gun, so why doesn't the thread say "Pro Right to Bear Arms??????@

some people do NOT believe that terminating a pregnancy at 2-5 weeks(for example) is killing an innocent person-that is why we all have different opinions on the subject!

until the Supreme Court of the United States makes abortion illegal-women will still get them. As a matter of fact-women will probably go back to haveing "back alley" abortions-now wouldn't that be great?

It wasn't her gun anyway.... she said someone else had to load it for her... that person, whoever it is, should be in jail too.

OT but it has a purpose. A couple of years ago my son attempted suicide because he was mentally unstable. I was angry that he could do such a thing to his family. BUT I totally understood why he did what he did. Keep in mind that it wasn't a cry for help but a very serious want to not be here on this earth any more. As a mom who loved her son deeply I actually hoped he got his wish as I sat watching him on life support. To be so desperate as to seriously want to take ones own life. He is doing great now and I am 100% that the things that caused his mental instability have been resolved and he will no longer feel that need to opt out from the mental anguish he was going through where he seen no way out, even though there was plenty of ways out. He just couldn't see them.

Yes there is the life of the baby that is no more, this wasn't about taking ones own life, but to all those in this thread that lack compassion for the mother and only looking at things from one point of view, had at any time ever endured emotional or physical abuse from their partner, would understand just how something like this can and does happen. I have suffered abuse in my life and know the destruction it can have on one's mental state. I have also suffered from post natal depression and know just how close I came at one time to harming one of my babies. I was just lucky that I had my mom in the same house who I asked to take care of my baby. If not for the family support network around me, god only knows what could of happened. I live with the fact I even contemplated harming my child and I will forever carry that guilt

are you saying that a woman who decided to have an abortion is just doing it for the thrill of killing someone?

get a grip-I have been with friends who have decided to terminate their pregnancies & trust me-there was nothing pleasant about it-I know a day doesn't go by when they don't think about it-but to say that they wanted to kill someone is well-ridiculous in my opinion.

So where does one draw the line? In a hypothectical situation, is it ok then for a mother in a similar circumstances to kill her, lets say, 3rd child if the child was 5 days old?? Really what is the difference...

My best friend took her own life a few years ago(due to mental illness). She could never see any way out & after several attempts-she finally succeeded. I am so happy that your son saw his way out And I am happy that you got away from the abuse
