Good Morning fellow VJ members!

I am currently awaiting the "Choice of Agent" email from NVC and I am aware of the email template. I am the petitioner, and i understand that i will be making myself the "Agent" so all correspondence comes to me. My wife does not need to partake with this being that i will be making myself the "Agent" so in other words there is no signature required from her? correct?

Thank you in advance and have a Great Day!!

I think she needs to send the choice of agent from her email (or you can from her email). She is the beneficiary of the I130 but petitioner of the non-immigrant visa, so this form/email will be making you, her choice of agent to pay the IV bill and submit the required documentation.

Congrats on the progress and good luck.

Thank you Kpatel!!

So are you suggesting that i send it now even though NVC has not invoiced it yet? I just received my IIN and case number yesterday..

One more thing, on your timeline you stated you had "also sent the scanned copy". To what are you refering to exactly?

Thanks again!!

Yes, please send it as soon as possible. I sent email template given in the below link and to be on safer side i also printed the DS-3032 form (found from wwww.travel.state.gov) filled it signed it, scanned it and attached with the email that I sent (email template) to NVC.

If you read the above link you will understand it better. I hope this helps.

NVC received my file on 30th July, I got my case number & IIN on 20th August, I sent DS-3032 on 20th August, AOS bill invoiced & DS-3032 email received on 27th August, I PAID the AOS bill on 27th Aug, it showed PAID on 28th August, I received DS-3032 acceptance on 29th August. Now today IV bill is expected to be invoiced today so I can pay it immediately and would be sending AOS packet today.

She is the beneficiary of the I130 but petitioner of the non-immigrant visa,

Not to split hairs, but she would be the applicant of the visa, not the petitioner. I-130 is a petition. DS- 230 is an application. It´s easy to get bogged down in jargon.

And I think you mean immigrant visa, but as long as the Op understands that´s what counts. :)
