Well, the title says it all. I overstayed in the U.S. more than a year but I did so before I was 18. So there's no ban penalty. Will this overstay prevent me from acquiring a K-1 visa if they petition it for me? Any experience from overstayers who eventually acquired a K-1?

Thanks

Since there is no active ban and it happened before you were 18, it shouldn't be much of an issue. They will probably ask you about it, and you just reply with the truth good.gif

Absolutely agree... No issue. There have been others who have talked about the same thing. Just tell the truth.!
