Overstayed VWP while underage... Banned or not?

Hi

First of all, this is my first post so I apologize if I have put the topic in the wrong section. I don't know where exactly to put a topic concerning the VWP and I thought that the closest thing to it was the "Tourist Visas" section. Again, I apologize if I have put the topic in the wrong section. Second, thank you for taking your time in reading this topic. My story: I traveled to the U.S. with the VWP on June 25th, 2011 with 16 years of age and I left August 28th, 2012 being 17 years old. I know that if you overstayed a visa while underage the 3 or 10 year ban are not applicable. But what about the VWP? Does the same rule apply for the VWP? Or it doesn't apply since the VWP isn't a Visa?

I am not sure of the answer to your question, but why not fill out ESTA? That will likely give you your answer.

If you overstayed while a minor, you will not have a ban, but if you overstayed on the VWP, you cannot use it ever again. You will need a B2 visa.
