The NVC has our petition, and we've got our case number and IIN.

They told us today over the phone that we'll hear from them between September 6 and 20 with information as to what we need to do next.

My question is - they haven't mentioned at all the Choice of Agent email. I'd not heard of it until I saw it mentioned on this site - is it necessary? I don't really understand its purpose.

Choice of Agent - email IS NOT necessary. Its purpose is to Expedite the process @ NVC. You can take the action as Pro-active. So, most of the applicants send the e- choice of agent.

there is no official E-DS3032 during non - electronic Process ( EP) but NVC accepts the E-ds3032 for EP or non EP. Applicant (Beneficiary ) has to send the email of Choice of Agent.

Thanks, all. After your advice I sent off the DS2032 email tonight.

It will take around 8-10 days for DS-3032 to get accepted. Now once you receive email about AOS, visit the payment site and pay the bill. Once it shows PAID (in a day or two) you can print the cover sheet and send the AOS packet and then wait for IV bill to be invoiced. Once it shows PAID (in a day or two) again print the cover sheet and send the IV packet and then wait for them to complete the case and assign the interview date.
