It says "03.12.2012 - Text Confirmation from CSC" in their signature, so I guess it is no VSC approval.

I agree, please change your timeline OP, and congrats on your approval!

Whoops. I missed that, but this only adds to the inconsistency really. The moment I see 'Texas' in a K-1 timeline, I kind of get tunnel vision.

Not sure where you found that information, but that is incorrect. Your original "destination" is the SERVICE CENTER. A lockbox is just a lockbox. The timeline estimates are based on your NOA1 date, and that date was given when your petition was routed to the appropriate service center.

YES, these timelines can indeed be changed manually. I put VSC in myself. That is what the edit function is for. You can click the drop down box on your name in the upper right corner of the screen-> click 'My Timeline(Add/Edit)'-> click the green 'Edit / Add My Entry' on your timeline page-> click the 'Edit Timeline' button. There you have it! You will see the option to choose your service center. From there, you can decide whether you would like to accurately choose the service center your petition was sent to. If you choose not to, your timeline data is pointless.
