Interview sked

Hi to all!

I got this message when I sent inquiry to NVC : The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

Please be advised that we schedule interview appointments based on the capacity of the respective U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. We are unable to predict when an interview will be scheduled.

But a while ago while I read some comments here I went to US embassy site and sign up a visa profile and got a schedule after I entered my data:Tuesday October 2, 2012 06:30

Do I need to confirm this to visa center?

Thanks

There is a difference when it comes to K1 applicants and CR1 applicants... K1 applicants once approved and have their MNL Case# and paid the visa fee at BPI can schedule their interview date on their own via phone or the website... for CR1 applicants however, NVC schedule their interview date... NVC will also contact CR1 applicants with documents needed etc.

I suggest you look into the comments you read here and see if its K1 or tourist visa... you have to cancel the appointment you made.
