Case # along with INN #

Goodmorning Vj Members, so I just got off the phone with NVC and received my Case # along with the INN #. However the operator advised me "Sir, I would recomend waiting to make this payment because we just assigned you a case number today and we ask that you wait until next week so that the email is generated."

So my question is as to why I cannot make the payment today? Should I wait?

Help please!! I do not want to wait any longer. I was under the impression of being proactive and get the Case and INN numbers would keep me ahead of the curve. Doesnt the email get generated once I make the Payment for the IV and the DS-230 anyways?

Thank you in advance!!

Just logged into the Payment Portal and the option to make the payment is actually greyed out!! :crying::crying::crying:

It's greyed out until the invoice is generated which is most likely early next week. You don't need to wait for notification.

I called on Aug. 23rd and got my case number and IIN. I have been checking the payment portal ever since and nothing. It says not invoiced. Im basically in the same boat as you.. I'm hoping it appears as ready to be paid soon.

It only took about a week for my invoice from the time I got my case number. It will go quickly now. Don't get too frustrated. Just smile because you're almost there!

In the fillers thread, it looks like they are invoicing for those who got their case number on the 16th right now so you can work from there.
