All right... I must be the most stupid person in the world since I can't find anyone else asking the same question :(

Trying to fill out the I-485 form right now and am stumped by Part 3: Processing Information, asking for my "non-immigrant visa number". On the VJ example form, it says "12345678" but I can't find any numbers with 8 digits on my visa.

Do they mean my passport number (which is 8 digits/characters long, but it's from my Canadian passport and not really a "visa number")? The "control number" (which is 14 digits/characters long)? The WAC number?

Thank you!

EDIT: never mind... it's the numbers in red ink, isn't it? *needs sleep as it's 4 in the morning*

echomyst,

Either the Control Number or the red number will do. My wife used the Control Number.
