Sent DS 3032, PAID AOS--Help please, what's next?

Hi everyone. I know I have been posting alot

questions here as I know many knowledgeable people in VJ would be able to help. We checked online, but my question is do we have to wait to receive a packet of instructions by post mail from NVC to get to the next step? It says on the AOS PAID Receipt that my petitioner has to apply for an Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration. Do we have to wait for a correspondence from NVC or can he just have go and fill up the application,print it and send it to NVC via post mail?

Did you received an email that NVC received your DS3032? tell your petitioner to send his AOS.

Yes, just go ahead and print off your AOS bar-coded cover sheet now and send the I-864 through postal.

well, you CAN receive instructions and forms via POSTAL MAIL, if NVC hasn't heard back from you within 10 to 12 weeks.

Most people , instead, are proactive and send off the forms as soon as an invoice is marked paid.

Do you wish to wait on postal notification, or do you wish to be pro-active?

If you are proactive, you will save time.

Postal processing takes about 1 year.

Being Proactive takes about 4 to 6 weeks.

I just looked through I-864 form and I saw something confusing.

It is part Sponsors Household size, it says to put number one for persons sponsoring (it is one, me , his wife), to count himself, and if he is married to add one more member, so it will be total 3!!!

And there is only me and my husband = 2.

What to do?

And , can anyone tell me what if my husband does not have last 3 tax reports, only last year, because he was not employed?!!

It is part Sponsors Household size, it says to put number one for persons sponsoring (it is one, me , his wife), to count himself, and if he is married to add one more member, so it will be total 3!!!

And there is only me and my husband = 2.

What to do?

Thank you! But in part B it is already stated in the form number one, without me beeing able to change it to 0. so i put a 1 b 1 and total 2.

If you did not have to file a tax return:

Attach a written explanation and a copy of the instructions from the Internal Revenue Service publication that shows you were not obligated to file. (Pages 7 and 8 of the 1997 1040 instructions provide information on most income tax obligations.)

No it will not have affect on your petition. Your petition can be at NVC for 1 year without having affect.
