I left my wife a prepaid greendot visa when I was there...saved a lot of hassles. The photocopy of the card you use to purchase the tickets works just fine too. It's always possible she can get a better deal if she buys them there too. I had my wife price tickets on her end while still there and it turned out I found them cheaper online.

I would highly suggest if you are going to book tickets on Cebu Pacific to call them instead of doing it online. They have lost my reservation before when i purchased them online and i had to pay for them again. Pay over the phone and stay on the phone with them until you receive a confirmation email from them with your internary.

Booking a hotel and a flight is not that hard to do. If she can't even deal with this, she's going to have a rude awakening when she gets to the US. She's going to get into more stressful situations than this throughout her journey If she doesn't want to do it herself, she can call a travel agency and they'd do it for her. It's probably better if you send her the cash thru western union and she just books the flight herself.
