HARD TO GET APPOINTMENT DATE

Hi to all!

I got this message when I sent inquiry to NVC : The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

Please be advised that we schedule interview appointments based on the capacity of the respective U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. We are unable to predict when an interview will be scheduled.

But a while ago while I read some comments here I went to US embassy site and sign up a visa profile and got a schedule after I entered my data:Tuesday October 2, 2012 06:30

Do I need to confirm this to visa center?

I know. try refreshing the page for a couple of times. a date might pop up!

I have refreshed so many times today that a messages says "You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page and your limit will be reset as of tomorrow." :o

:no: :no: Online or you called 214-571-1600? I tried calling that # earlier at noon and it's telling me to call between 8am-8pm except US and PH holidays. I'm like huh? So it must be a US # but operators are from PH.

It was online that I get the messages of "there are currently no appointments available."

Try going against online traffic and call the US # it's almost 8am PH time.

I called everyday for close to 2 weeks about 6 times a day to get an earlier interview. Everyday the available dates changed, just never got an earlier one. This gies for online as well. Keep checking and if you see one I would grab it.

With all the holidays recently and the embassy closed for 3 days a couple weeks back, its going to be busy. Good luck and keep trying often.

03 February 2012: NOA1( e-mail & Text)

03 February 2012: Check Cashed

NO RFE'S

22 June 2012 : NOA2 (e-mail & Text)

16 July 2012: Manila Case Number(by phone)

17 July 2012: Interview paid at BPI

19 July 2012: Set interview for Mid-Aug

23-24 July 2012: Medical St. Lukes(passed)

24 July 2012: CFO Seminar(had to go next morning for landline #)- PASSED

02 Aug 2012: Received e-mail from USEM our case is there.

15 Aug 2012: Interview at USEM - APPROVED

13 SEP 2012: POE Minneapolis, MN

27 OCT 2012: Married

19 NOV 2012: AOS package sent

So I opted to check from time to time online, than calling them. As the online seekers, can able to grab as fast as they can whatever date pops up.

Just keep on trying, yesterday I was having the same dilemma and I got it before my office hours end.

I agree, if no appointment yet go online. If you have an appointment and trying for an earlier one, online isn't an option. You must call.
