When can i get response after RFE?

I got the RFE notice on 08/06/12 and sent back my package on 08/08/12.

USCIS (VSC) received my package on 08/09/2012.

Now almost 3 weeks passed, I didn't hear anything from them.

Worrying....

Give it a little more time, unless you are past the regular 5 month wait time, if so try to give them a call or email them for an update. God bless your journey.

I see a lot of people got approval notice within 20 days after they responded to RFE, that's why I become worried.

Our RFE response was received by Vermont July 18th. Our original petition was filed January 27th. We are now past 7 months mark and no word from them. They have had our RFE evidence back for almost 6 weeks now. :angry:

Was it a simple RFE? I got mine answered within 2 weeks.

When responding to a Request for Evidence it is extremely important that you place the blue coversheet on the top of the response you send to them. Did you do that?

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

OP - use a telephone, call the USCIS Hotline, get a Human, inquire for RFE submittal and RFE review.

When we sent in our RFE response USCIS updated the system to say that the case was now in RFE Review as of July 18th.

(But I know the package was signed for on the 13th).

(But I know the package was signed for on the 13th).

Was that an RFE for I-751 ROC ? I had a RFE for the I-751 and the online status wasn't changed and hasn't been changed in 12 months.

I called today, the person told me "It is still under review".

You know, they only read from the website, but the website is never updated.

How do you know the date they received it ? was it signed for or something ?

I used Fedex and when I tracked it, it was signed by someone on 08/09/12
