Congratulations! While, not a guarantee, sounds extremely promising to me. My husband had the same thing...they called him in a week to pickup his passport with the visa. Hope you have a quick approval!

I agree it's a good sign it took 62 days for my hubby to get called back for a second interview and finally visa approval. Don't get frustrated I was willing to wait a bit if the outcome was approval.

Good luck

Congrats and I agree with everyone else, it sounds good they kept your passport. I have to mention this story also... Today I was at work and was writing the date down, I was standing there and looking at friends and kept saying... why is this date important today????? and they looked me all puzzled, all of a sudden I thought, Ohhh that's right, it is a friend on visajourneys interview today, I hope he does well... I just thought it was strange and the date stuck in my head. I am glad the worst of it is over for you and your wife and you can be reunited with her soon, Incha'allah :D :D :D

You have been such a fixture here on VJ, I thought you were already here in the U.S. I hope you hear soon. Anyway, they can't deny a Seinfeld fan.

It's an excellent sign that they have kept your passport. At least they did not flat out refuse. Good luck to you and your spouse! I hope you get your approval very soon!
