I was really hoping, that if I stopped looking at the site everyday I would have some good news.

I guess the good news is VSC hasnt got any slower.

Stay strong people, Im visiting my wife and will be here a few weeks.

Hope to see good news soon.

lol. Well, I hear that the people who have been calling in have been getting responses from USCIS that VSC is currently working on March 19, 2012. VJ seems to be a bit off apparently. It shows April 7, 2012 is what is being worked on presently. I hope VJ is more accurate than the call center (which is usually is); at this time, though, VJ only shows a few April filers actually approved. Only 3 recently were approved from regular processing. The other 2 seem to have been expedited or are a fluke. Anyways, while VSC seems to be slowing down, I know they are still chugging along. They have A LOT more petitions to work through over the next couple of months than they have in a while.

Thanks for the info!! :) It sucks that Vermont is slowing down :crying: ....but at least we do know why it's taking longer. All what we can do is TO WAIT  .......

How were you allowed to open a service request? Don't you have to wait the full 5 months first?

I had a previous service request for the upgrade of my petition from permanent resident to USC. So I called to check on that, when they confirmed that it was complete I asked when I can expect to be processed the rep told me that in 5-6 months, I responded yes but from my priori date, so that would only be 1-2 months. She say "I think it's from the upgrade date", once she said I think that was my entry to get to level 2, I said I really want to know for sure because if that was the case I expected a new priority date.

Long story short I was transferred to level 2 and the officer opened a service request to check on the "exact status" of my application.

Right now I am just hoping that they process it once its in someone's had. Can't be bad to have a little extra attention on my case, the officer said I should know in less than two weeks the answer to the request.

Seems like VSC is moving a little faster lately, so June filer may hear something about our cases by mid november

Good luck and hopefully service request will help!! Keep us updated on your case :)

Yes, you're right. It can't hurt at all.

Awesome! :) I hope they just process your app when they see it. It would be a waste to go through the files, find it, and then put it back because it's supposed to be processed next week as opposed to this week. What a load that would be.

Can't wait! May is already 30.6% complete!

I can't believe how frustrating an experience the wait for NOA2 has been. Its not bad enought we had to see people from Apr. May and June get approved a month ago at CSC, now we get to see how all those who applied in Aug. Sep and even Oct start to get approved....

Don't get me wrong, its not the people I am hating on, it's the system and how they abuse the proper function of a queue, being in all cases a first in first out system. I really feel there should be some reimbursement for all the mental anguish and stress this generates.

.... BTW, the service request opened a couple of weeks ago just came back in the mail with a notice that requests I give 60 days for a response. (No Words)

Good Luck to all living and feeling the same way.
