Today, August 28th 2012, my case officially made 5 months since NOA 1 so I decided to call NCSC for an update since I haven't heard anything from them. I was told that VSC is currently processing applications from February 6th 2012. That is, although the estimated processing time is 5 months, they are actually processing closer to 6-7 months. I was also told that I could not submit a service request because although my case is outside the estimated time, it is not outside the current processing time. In fact, I would have to wait until my case is outside of current processing times (6-7 months) in order to submit a service request if I haven't received notice by that point in time.

Sad but true!!! I few more months of anxiously waiting for a response from uscis.

Hope this info helps...

Sadly but true.... If you look at igor's list, it showing that April petition are getting worked on. although they say 5 month it doesn't necessary mean that... 5 Month is there "GOAL". I just hope that all turns around at its given time and they start approving them. This sucks!!!! :(

Igor's list is a timeline that keep track of the current processing petitions at the service center. And it tell you how many have been approved. But it's only helpful when members actually update there timelines.

This is the link
