Oklahoma Dora

I would appreciate some comments about taking the Oklahoma DORA process. The I-94 expired on August 18 and the K-1 Visa expires on November 14. The Oklahoma DORA program does not start until November 20. I do not believe the K-1 expiration matters, but is it better to at least get the I-485 filed before the K-1 expires? Alternatively, do I just schedule an appointment on InfoPass? IS anyone else looking to use the Oklahome DORA program and how are you proceeding and preparing?

I would presume.. and dont quote me on this .. but if you have satisfied the conditions of your K1 ie marrying within the 90 days, it should not matter if you wait to file on the DORA programme.. I would probably not file via the usual chicago lockbox as you would then have a petition underway and would have to cancel that one before starting the process or hope that they would transfer your files to the DORA programme which quite frankly I would place very very long odds on that happening judgeing by immigrations swift speedy and accurate processing (note - scarcasm)

dallas has DORA if you have the option to go for it.Please do..

basicly be prepared to spend the whole day at the appointment have ALL documents

and fees .. etc.....

Im so mad!!! I only applied a month ago for AOS/EAD and had to do it via chicago...now i could do it in person!!!!!!!!! GRRRRR!! Do you think they can change it???
