When the NVC process is done and it has been sent to the US Embassy in Bogota, how does one get notice of the interview date? email, letter,?

Your case isn't sent abroad until an interview date is scheduled by NVC. Once that's done, then the case is sent abroad.

And you find out by email, if both email addresses were given over to an operator when the case number was assigned. If email addresses weren't given, then you'll receive the interview letter by postal mail, which can take weeks and weeks to receive.

If you know that the NVC has completed your case and it was already sent to the US embassy, then the NVC can give you the interview date over the phone as well.

It hasn't been approved yet , still waiting on NOA2. Doing some work ahead that way its all not bunched up for last minute.

Then I would recommend reading the EZGuideSpouse so you can be 100% ready for when the approved petition makes it to the NVC. You will also need to get your spouse's civil documents to send with form DS-230 (Colombian list of civil documents).
